Rene Walrus is an accessories boutique retailing designer jewellery alongside their own signature range and bespoke jewellery service. They also stock a wide range of sterling silver findings, Swarovski crystals semi-precious stones and freshwater pearls for jewellery makers and designers.

Rene Walrus was established in 2004 by Janet McCrorie. She had the idea for the boutique while studying fine art at Edinburgh College of Art. After completing her degree she began designing and producing accessories for family and friends and then for independent boutiques, "I wanted to test the market and see if my designs would be popular before I set up the shop".
After three years Janet decided it was time to set up her own outlet and Rene Walrus was born.
